Just a short while ago, it was announced that at least one soldier opened fire at Ft Hood in Texas, killing many soldiers about to be deployed.
Like many other Americans, I turned on the news to see President Obama's words to the nation.
I was shocked to see that at a time of great tragedy, he opened with a "shout-out" to a close friend, and pats on the back to those he was working with.
Oh, yes, and before I forget, he told people that there was a tragedy at Ft. Hood.
I was shocked, but perhaps I shouldn't be. This shows what Obama thinks of the military, and the rest of America.
